No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and land straight in the browser. No store, no account, no password — they just enter their name once so everyone can see whose photos are whose.

You don't — you get it ready-made. As soon as the gallery exists, it is waiting in the host area, along with a print template in A5 format, two of which fit on one A4 sheet. Print it, put it out, done. The address is printed underneath the code as well, for anyone who prefers to type it.

On the tables. That is where your guests sit and where their phones already are. The entrance, the bar and the photo corner work well too. If there is a screen, the projector mode keeps the code in the corner all evening — in our experience that brings in the most uploads.

Yes — without an account we couldn't assign the gallery to you or let you manage it. It's created when you set up your first gallery: enter your email address, done. There's no password; we send you a link every time you sign in. Your guests still don't need to sign in anywhere.

Nothing. You pay once for the gallery, your guests upload and download for free — as often as they like.

Through our payment provider Stripe, using Credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna or Amazon Pay. You pay once — there is no subscription and nothing renews by itself. The trial plan costs nothing and needs no payment details at all.

For trying it out yes, for a real party no. The Test plan costs nothing and needs no payment details: 30 files (photos or videos), available for 48 hours, up to 3 guests. That is not enough for an actual celebration — several hundred pictures pile up quickly, and they should stay for months. Storage and traffic cost us money, and we cover that through the price rather than through advertising or selling your data. Hence from 59 €, one-off.

You don't have to — the same gallery they upload to does it. It works both ways: after scanning, every guest sees all the pictures from the party, not just their own, and can download them one by one or all at once. So there is nothing to send around, no link to forward and no pictures to drop into a WhatsApp group. Anyone who hears about it after the party scans the same code.

48 hours on the free trial plan, otherwise 6 months or 12 months. Importantly, the clock only starts with the first photo uploaded, not with your order. So you can create the gallery months ahead without losing any time.

On servers in Frankfurt am Main, encrypted at rest — storage and processing happen there and nowhere else. The data centres are run by Amazon Web Services; our contracting party is based in Luxembourg, its parent company in the USA. We do not transfer any data there. Our privacy policy explains how this is safeguarded.

Only people with the link get in — the address contains a random part and can't be guessed. If you want to be extra sure, set a four-digit access code. Search engines are excluded.

As the host you can hide or delete any picture. Guests can only remove their own uploads, not other people's. And you can delete the whole gallery early at any time, without asking us.

Downloads come in full original resolution, exactly as the phone took them. In the gallery itself we show smaller versions — that saves your guests' data and keeps browsing fast.

Through the bulk download: request it once and we pack everything into a ZIP file at original resolution. For a large party the packing takes a few minutes, then the file is ready. If you like, your guests may download it too — then nobody has to ask you for individual pictures.

Yes, on every plan and of any length — the trial plan included. In return, videos count towards the same allowance as photos: the Standard plan holds 1,000 files in total, be they stills or clips. Only the individual file is capped: up to 600 MB on the paid plans, 200 MB on the free trial.

Yes, on every plan at no extra cost — the trial plan included. Guests write a few lines and can attach up to three photos or videos, which count towards the gallery's normal allowance. Afterwards you download the guestbook as a designed PDF ready to print. It is switched on from the start; in your host area you can turn it off or on again at any time and hide or delete individual entries.

Then we really delete — pictures, videos and guests' names. So it doesn't catch you out, on the paid plans we remind you fourteen days and again three days beforehand by email, in good time to save everything. Only the short trial plan has no reminder.

Pictures go straight from the phone to us, with no detour. If the connection drops, the page retries by itself and says so if something didn't arrive. Worst case, guests upload from home the next day — the link stays valid.

The code is only a shortcut. Behind it sits an ordinary web address, printed underneath it on the stand — it can be typed in or sent by WhatsApp, text message or email. Older phones without a scanner in the camera get in exactly the same way.

Yes. The Test plan is free and needs no payment details: 10 photos, available for 48 hours. That's enough to walk through the whole thing once.

Yes, that's what projector mode is for. It shows the party's pictures full screen, new ones jump to the front, and the QR code stays visible in the corner — in our experience that's the best way to get even more guests joining in.

No, it sits alongside one. A photo booth produces posed pictures in one spot — props, good lighting, a print to take home. Fotorium collects what happens everywhere else all evening: on the dance floor, at the table, outside the door. If you have both, put the QR code next to the booth and everything ends up in the same gallery. If you have to choose, the digital version gives you far more perspectives and much less setup — but no props and no instant print.
