An anniversary has two kinds of pictures
An anniversary isn't just a celebration, it's also a look back. And the material for that sits in the cupboards of twenty different people.
The maid of honour still has prints from the film of the day. The brother has three slides. The children have pictures on their phones that nobody else has ever seen. Usually all this gets gathered in the week before the party, by exactly one person — and afterwards it drifts apart again.
A gallery takes in both. Anyone with old photos snaps them with their phone or pulls the scan out of a folder: there is no restriction on when a picture was taken. On the evening itself, the fresh shots are added by everyone who has their phone in hand anyway.
For the couple or the club, the result is what really counts. Not a pile of photos from one evening, but twenty-five years and an evening in a single collection — in full resolution and saved as an archive with one click. That is the basis for the photo book nobody ever manages to gather the pictures for otherwise.
What comes together
In the end, both sit in the same gallery and can be downloaded in one go. If you want them neatly sorted, set two photo tasks — “a picture from back then” and “a picture from today”. Then the sorting takes care of itself as people upload.

Downloads come in full original resolution, exactly as the phone took them. In the gallery itself we show smaller versions — that saves your guests' data and keeps browsing fast.
Are videos possible?
Yes, on every plan and of any length — the trial plan included. In return, videos count towards the same allowance as photos: the Standard plan holds 1,000 files in total, be they stills or clips. Only the individual file is capped: up to 600 MB on the paid plans, 200 MB on the free trial.
Do I need an account as the host?
Yes — without an account we couldn't assign the gallery to you or let you manage it. It's created when you set up your first gallery: enter your email address, done. There's no password; we send you a link every time you sign in. Your guests still don't need to sign in anywhere.
How long do the photos stay available?
48 hours on the free trial plan, otherwise 6 months or 12 months. Importantly, the clock only starts with the first photo uploaded, not with your order. So you can create the gallery months ahead without losing any time.
