Prom
Prom night is one evening. You'll want the photos for longer.
The photographer stands in front of the stage while the certificates are handed out. For everything after that, nobody is in charge.
A leavers' ball is the last evening an entire year group is in one place. Six weeks later one is at university in Leipzig, another is in Australia, and three have moved away for apprenticeships. Whatever isn't gathered together that night never will be.
The usual approach lasts exactly as long as a story: twenty-four hours. And the group in which the pictures get shared is the group that was hanging out together anyway — the parallel class isn't in it, let alone the teachers.
A QR code on the tables takes no effort and is the only place where everyone's pictures meet. The ball committee sets up the gallery; the whole year group gets the link, without anyone needing an account.
From the table sign to the reunion
A ball has a running order, and so do its pictures. This is how it works in practice:
Weeks before
The code is ready before the venue is
You set up the gallery as soon as the date is fixed. The storage period still only begins with the first picture — so you lose no time to the preparations. You get the table sign as a ready-to-print template for tables, cloakroom and the wall everyone will later line up against for group photos.
The night of the ball
Everyone uploads, nobody signs up
Point the camera at the code, type a first name, choose the pictures. Even the parents who leave at eleven will have handed in their shots by then. You can run the gallery on the screen in the hall; in our experience, that is the moment the rest of the room joins in.
The morning after
Catch up on what didn't work overnight
The link stays valid. Anyone who had no signal in the hall, or simply couldn't be bothered, uploads from the sofa on Sunday — videos from the afterparty included.
The year after
Available for twelve months
That covers the first term, the first trip home and the question in February of whether anyone still has the picture of the speech. Fourteen days before the end we remind you, so everyone can save what they want to keep.
What does it cost my guests?
Nothing. You pay once for the gallery, your guests upload and download for free — as often as they like.
Can I show the pictures on a big screen?
Yes, that's what projector mode is for. It shows the party's pictures full screen, new ones jump to the front, and the QR code stays visible in the corner — in our experience that's the best way to get even more guests joining in.
What if the signal at the party is poor?
Pictures go straight from the phone to us, with no detour. If the connection drops, the page retries by itself and says so if something didn't arrive. Worst case, guests upload from home the next day — the link stays valid.
How long do the photos stay available?
48 hours on the free trial plan, otherwise 6 months or 12 months. Importantly, the clock only starts with the first photo uploaded, not with your order. So you can create the gallery months ahead without losing any time.
Is there a free version of the gallery?
For trying it out yes, for a real party no. The Test plan costs nothing and needs no payment details: 30 files (photos or videos), available for 48 hours, up to 3 guests. That is not enough for an actual celebration — several hundred pictures pile up quickly, and they should stay for months. Storage and traffic cost us money, and we cover that through the price rather than through advertising or selling your data. Hence from 59 €, one-off.
